Online Payment User Terms and Conditions
Just like with all other personal information, Manitoba Public Insurance takes the protection of your payment information very seriously. Manitoba Public Insurance maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access.
Manitoba Public Insurance does not collect or retain the credit card information you enter through the online payment service. Instead, we’ve partnered with a third party organization that specializes in securing online payment transactions.
By making an online payment to Manitoba Public Insurance through the online payment service, you accept the following terms and conditions.
- You are stating that you are an authorized user of the credit card, debit card, or applicable payment account and that the associated information entered (account number, billing address, etc.) is accurate.
- You authorize Manitoba Public Insurance to charge the amount you have requested to your requested payment method account.
- If your credit card issuer, network, or payment method provider does not honour an online payment transaction, Manitoba Public Insurance has the right to charge the amount of any such transaction to your customer account or to collect the amount from you, including any late payment penalties that may apply.
- If your credit card issuer, network, or payment method provider does not honour an online payment transaction, Manitoba Public Insurance may cancel providing you the goods or services you attempted to purchase.
- Manitoba Public Insurance will strive to make the online payment service available at all times, however there may be occasions when it will be unavailable for use. Manitoba Public Insurance will not be responsible for any penalties or fees arising from this service being unavailable for use. You are solely responsible for completing any transactions before any applicable deadlines.
- Certain products or services may not be cancelled, rescheduled, or refunded through the online payment service. Manitoba Public Insurance will attempt to bring this to your attention prior to purchasing such products or services. You may be directed to contact Manitoba Public Insurance or an Autopac Agent in order to complete any such cancellation, rescheduling, or refund.
In order to make an online payment, you must have Internet access. In order to store your transaction receipt on paper, you will need a printer connected to your computer or device.
